Preview & Purchase Terms
Clear expectations for your preview, digital portraits, fine art prints, canvas, and AWRA membership.

1. About the service
These terms govern requests and purchases from AWRA Photo through awraphoto.com and our connected order, payment, and delivery services. Review them before requesting a preview or placing an order. You must be at least 18 and authorized to submit the photos and instructions you provide. Contact us before submitting images of another person or a minor; any required subject, parent, or guardian permissions must be obtained.
AWRA creates portraits using advanced technology, digital editing, and human creative review. We aim to preserve recognizable identity, but results are artistic interpretations rather than exact photographic reproductions. Templates illustrate creative direction; lighting, pose, clothing details, anatomy, backgrounds, and facial details may vary. We do not guarantee an exact match to an inspiration image or a particular subjective reaction.
2. Complimentary watermarked preview
One complimentary preview is available per customer, subject to suitable reference material and availability. Requesting a preview does not require a purchase, create a subscription, or authorize a charge. AWRA may decline duplicate, unsuitable, unauthorized, or abusive requests.
The preview is for private evaluation only. Do not remove or obscure the watermark, use a watermark-removal tool, or publish, distribute, or commercially use an unpaid preview. If you wish to keep and use the finished portrait, purchase it through the supplied checkout. A complimentary preview does not include unlimited new concepts or revisions.
3. Portraits, prints, prices, and payment
The one-time Studio Portrait is $49 per finished portrait unless a different offer is clearly stated at checkout. It follows your selected Studio template and does not include changes to hair, makeup, clothing, or theme. Personalized requests are available with Signature and higher tiers within the plan’s allowances and revision limits.
Fine art paper prints and framed canvas are physical products available through our Portraits & Prints collection. Check the size, material, frame option, quantity, and shipping address before ordering. Fine art paper arrives unframed; framed canvas is supplied ready to hang, as described in the selected offer. Physical prints are not included with a digital-only purchase or membership unless expressly stated. Any included digital file or print credit is described in the offer and checkout.
Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and the final total are shown at checkout. Square processes payments through its hosted checkout and provides its own payment terms. A one-time portrait purchase is separate from a recurring membership. We will not charge for extra portraits or other add-ons without your approval.
Check the product, amount, and billing frequency before confirming payment. If the checkout differs materially from the offer you selected, contact AWRA before paying. Payment must be verified before unwatermarked files or paid benefits are released.
4. Production and delivery
Provide clear, accurate reference photos, a valid contact email, the correct template code, and complete instructions. Production timing begins after the required materials and any required payment are received. The usual 24–48-hour digital-portrait turnaround is an estimate, not a guaranteed deadline; workload, request complexity, revisions, incomplete references, and technical issues can affect delivery. Contact us before ordering if you need a specific date.
Previews and final portraits are delivered digitally through a gallery, download link, or another agreed method. Check your spam folder and contact us if an expected message does not arrive. Digital-only purchases do not include a physical print. In-person sessions, photographer bookings, and editable source files are not included unless expressly agreed. Download and back up delivered files; gallery links may expire.
Fine art and canvas orders include free standard shipping to United States addresses only. Allow 3 days for portrait preparation, then 2–3 business days for print production after your final approval, confirmed payment, and verified shipping address. After dispatch, shipping is estimated at 5–8 business days. Approval delays may extend the timeline, and Alaska and Hawaii may take longer. Production and shipping are separate stages. See our Shipping Policy for digital delivery, tracking, address holds, and delays; replacement timing is explained in section 8.5.
Review your final preview and confirm the product, size, crop, and shipping address before printing. We do not begin printing without your approval. If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you and offer a revised date for your agreement or cancellation with a prompt refund for unshipped items.
5. Monthly memberships and collection access
- Signature — $499/month: 10 portraits per monthly order, eligible personalization, and 2 consolidated rounds of minor revisions. The Signature gallery may be browsed publicly, but its templates and benefits are reserved for verified Signature or higher members and are not included in the $49 Studio offer.
- Destination — $1,499/month: 15 portraits per month, eligible destination templates and curated outfits, and access to lower-tier collections.
- Social Edit — $2,450/month: 30 portraits per month, eligible creative collections, and access to lower-tier collections.
Higher tiers include eligible lower-tier collections; portrait allowances are the total for the selected plan, not added together. Personalization and two consolidated minor-revision rounds apply within the selected plan’s included scope. There is no monthly private creative-planning consultation included.
Destination and Social Edit full collections are private. Signing in, visiting checkout, or receiving a payment receipt alone does not establish entitlement. AWRA must verify payment, subscription status, and the appropriate customer account. Private collection access remains unavailable until the access system and verification are ready; do not purchase a membership if you require immediate private-gallery access unless AWRA has confirmed it is available.
Monthly collections may refresh and retire permanently. Current eligible members may select available templates within the collection period. Retired designs are not promised to return or be recreated. Your purchased finished portraits remain subject to the usage rights below.
6. Recurring billing and subscription cancellation
Memberships renew and are charged monthly at the price and billing schedule you authorize at checkout until canceled. A complimentary preview does not enroll you in recurring billing. Billing begins as disclosed in your subscription checkout, even if membership activation requires separate verification.
You may cancel future renewals using any subscription-management or cancellation option included in your Square confirmation, or by emailing info@awraphoto.com or replying to your AWRA order conversation. Identify the subscription and email used at checkout. Request cancellation before the next renewal to prevent the next charge; no extra notice period or cancellation fee applies. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not itself refund work already provided or a current paid period, subject to the remedies below and applicable law. Contact us if you have trouble canceling or are charged after a timely cancellation request.
7. Revisions and additional work
Signature and higher memberships include 2 consolidated rounds of minor revisions per monthly order. Submit one combined list for each round. Minor revisions refine the agreed portrait; they do not include unlimited redesigns. Switching templates or requesting a new theme after production begins counts as a new portrait toward your allowance.
For Signature, each portrait beyond the monthly allowance is an additional $49, subject to your approval. Additional work for other tiers, substantial redesigns, or work outside the selected scope requires a separate agreed quote. The one-time $49 Studio Portrait does not include personalized changes to hair, makeup, clothing, or theme.
8. Cancellations, replacements, and refunds
These terms cover AWRA digital portraits, fine art paper prints, and canvas products. Review your portrait preview, selected product, size, and shipping details carefully before purchasing. Nothing is printed without your approval and verified payment.
8.1 Before production begins
You can decline a complimentary preview without buying. If you have paid and production has not started, contact us to cancel and request a refund. Once custom production begins, a change of mind or preference does not qualify for a refund. The protections for damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost orders below still apply.
8.2 Eligible cases for replacement or refund
You may choose a free replacement or a full refund for an affected physical product in the following situations:
- Damaged in transit: Your order arrives visibly damaged, cracked, torn, or broken.
- Defective print quality: There is significant color distortion, blurring, or another print defect that was not present in your approved portrait preview.
- Incorrect item: The product does not match your order, including the wrong portrait, style, size, or product type.
- Lost in transit: Tracking or a carrier investigation confirms the order is lost, or it remains undelivered and significantly overdue—typically 30 or more days past the estimated delivery date. Contact us as soon as a delivery is overdue; you do not need to wait 30 days to report it or to request help with a confirmed loss.
These delivery guidelines do not postpone any earlier refund right that applies to delayed shipment or non-delivery.
8.3 Non-eligible cases
The following do not qualify for a refund or replacement under this policy, subject to the protections below:
- Limitations in your original photo: Low resolution, blur, poor lighting, or an obscured subject affects the result, and that limitation was visible in the preview you approved. This does not exclude a separate print or production defect.
- A change in artistic preference: You no longer like the style, composition, or other details already shown in the preview you approved.
- An incorrect shipping address: Delivery fails because the address you provided was incorrect. Contact us immediately if you notice an error; we will try to correct it before dispatch.
- An accessed or downloaded digital file: Change-of-mind refunds are not available once the purchased file has been accessed or downloaded. See the digital-download terms below.
- A late quality report: More than 30 calendar days have passed since delivery and no quality issue was reported during that period. This reporting window does not apply to an order that never arrived or limit rights that cannot be excluded.
- Minor screen-to-print color differences: Screens and print materials render colors differently. Small variations are normal and are not print defects.
8.4 How to request help
Email info@awraphoto.com or reply to your AWRA order conversation. For a delivered item, report damage, a defect, or an incorrect item within 30 calendar days of delivery. Include your order reference, a short description, and clear photos of the issue. Photos of the packaging and shipping label are helpful when available.
For a missing delivery, include the tracking number if available. Keep a damaged item and its packaging until we advise you on the next steps. Please do not return an item without contacting us first. If we require an eligible item to be returned, we will arrange the return at no cost to you.
8.5 Replacement and refund process
For an eligible replacement, we will reproduce and reship your item at no cost. Replacement production typically takes 2–3 business days after the replacement is approved. Shipping time is additional, and we will confirm the estimated delivery date.
If a replacement is not possible or you prefer a refund, we will issue a full refund for the affected product to your original payment method, including applicable taxes and any shipping charges paid for that product. Once issued, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. This is a bank-posting estimate, not an additional waiting period before we issue an approved refund.
8.6 Digital downloads
Purchased digital downloads are non-refundable for a change of mind or artistic preference once the unwatermarked file has been accessed or downloaded. Viewing your complimentary watermarked preview does not count as accessing the purchased file.
If a technical issue prevents access, contact us so we can promptly restore access or provide a working file. If the file is incorrect, corrupted, unusable, or materially different from your approved preview, contact us for a correction, replacement, or refund as appropriate—even if you have already opened it.
Downloading the digital portrait included with a print does not remove your replacement or refund coverage for a damaged, defective, incorrect, or lost physical product.
If you receive a duplicate or unauthorized charge, materially incomplete work, or a service that AWRA cannot provide, contact us promptly with your order reference. We will offer an appropriate correction, replacement, or refund. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have for defective goods or services, non-delivery, misrepresentation, unauthorized charges, or other mandatory consumer protections. You retain the right to contact your payment provider about a payment dispute.
9. Your photos, likeness, and use of finished portraits
You retain rights you already hold in your uploaded materials. You grant AWRA and necessary production providers permission to process those materials only as needed to create, review, revise, deliver, and support your requested service, subject to our Privacy Policy. You confirm that your instructions and submissions do not infringe another person’s rights. An upload or purchase is not a model release for AWRA advertising; separate permission is required to feature you publicly.
After full payment, AWRA permits you to download and use the delivered unwatermarked portraits for personal use, social media, and promotion of your own business or personal brand. This does not grant rights to resell AWRA templates, redistribute a template collection, or use unpaid previews. Third-party rights, platform rules, and restrictions on misleading uses still apply.
AWRA retains its pre-existing templates, creative systems, website content, and other business materials. Digitally created elements may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction, and we do not guarantee exclusivity, copyright registration, or clearance of every possible third-party use. Do not use portraits for identity verification, fake credentials, impersonation, unlawful activity, or misleading claims of real events or endorsements.
10. Privacy, reasonable limits, and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains photo handling, service providers, retention, and available choices. Protect your account and private gallery links. We may decline or suspend requests involving unlawful, exploitative, unauthorized, or abusive material.
We are responsible for providing the service agreed with you, subject to applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website or third-party service availability, social-media performance, follower growth, or income. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring an eligible consumer claim.
Updates will be posted with a new effective date. Changes do not retroactively alter an existing order without agreement, and subscription changes will be communicated with any notice or consent required by law.
