Privacy Policy
How AWRA Photo handles your information, reference photos, and portrait orders.
Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 16, 2026
1. Who we are and what we collect
AWRA Photo (“AWRA,” “we,” “us”) provides concierge digital portrait services at awraphoto.com. This policy covers information collected through our website, portrait requests, communications, galleries, and orders.
- Contact and order information: your name, email, optional contact details, selected templates, creative preferences, customer messages, order history, and membership details.
- Photos and creative materials: reference selfies, uploaded photographs, instructions, generated portraits, proofs, and revision feedback.
- Transaction information: payment status, order or transaction identifiers, subscription details, and limited billing information supplied by our payment provider. Payment-card entry is handled through Square; AWRA does not collect your full card number through its portrait-request form.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, website requests, security logs, and cookies or similar storage used by the website and embedded services.
Information comes from you, your use of our services, and providers supporting your request or payment. Please provide only the information needed for your order; do not upload identity documents, financial records, or unrelated sensitive material.
2. How we use photos and AI tools
AWRA uses digital editing and AI-assisted image-generation tools, together with human creative review, to produce portraits based on your reference photos and instructions. This requires processing your images and likeness with relevant production service providers. Your photos may reveal facial appearance and other personal characteristics. Please submit only photos you are authorized to use.
We use your information to create and deliver previews and portraits, handle revisions, communicate with you, verify payments and membership eligibility, provide support, prevent misuse, and maintain necessary business records. We do not treat an upload as consent to public display or marketing. Any separate permission to feature your images may be withdrawn for future AWRA-controlled promotional uses by contacting us; withdrawal cannot undo lawful uses already completed or copies independently shared by others.
Third-party production tools process information under their applicable terms and privacy practices. Contact AWRA before uploading if you need information about the production providers applicable to your order or have restrictions on how your reference material may be processed.
3. Who receives information
We disclose information as needed to service providers supporting intake and uploads, AI-assisted production and editing, hosting and security, account access, payments, communications, and private gallery delivery. Our service setup includes Tally for intake, Square for payments and subscriptions, Pixieset for client galleries, and Netlify for website hosting; account features may use Supabase. Not every provider receives every category of information.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, prevent fraud, or support a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Our use of your photos is for providing your requested service, not selling your likeness to advertisers. We do not sell customer reference photos or license them to third parties for their independent advertising.
Embedded forms, hosted checkouts, external fonts, and gallery services may receive technical information directly from your browser. Their own privacy policies apply to their independent processing: Tally, Square, Pixieset, Netlify, Supabase, and Google.
4. Cookies and online tracking
Our website and connected services may use cookies, session storage, or similar technologies for sign-in, form operation, saved preferences, security, and service functionality. Your browser can restrict or delete cookies, although some features may stop working. External services may collect information about your interactions with their embedded content and may associate it with activity on their own or other websites.
Do Not Track: AWRA’s website does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. This does not limit rights or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law. You may contact us about privacy choices.
5. Retention, deletion, and security
We download submitted photos to our internal processing server to create, edit, and review your requested portraits. Original reference photos and working portrait files on that server are kept for 15 days after delivery of your preview or finished portrait, then removed. Your upload is not permanent storage. Order, transaction, consent, and related business records may be retained longer for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
You may request deletion of reference photos and other personal information. We will assess and carry out eligible requests, subject to identity verification and legal or operational exceptions. Deleting reference material before production or revisions are complete may prevent us from finishing the work. The 15-day period applies to our internal processing server. Intake uploads held by Tally, client galleries held by Pixieset, other service-provider systems, and backups may follow separate retention and deletion cycles; it does not promise simultaneous erasure from those systems. Contact us to request removal of copies held in connected services. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup. Download and keep your delivered portraits; gallery availability is not a permanent archival guarantee.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep private gallery links and account credentials confidential.
6. Your choices and requests
You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you supplied, ask about processing and retention, withdraw optional marketing permission, or request applicable privacy rights. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, additional access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or opt-out rights may be available. We assess requests under applicable law and may verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. We will not require unnecessary sensitive information for verification.
Send requests to hello@awraphoto.com, or reply to an existing AWRA order conversation. Include your order reference if available and describe your request. Avoid sending payment-card details or identity documents. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the available instructions; service and order messages may still be necessary.
7. Children and international processing
Our ordering services are intended for adults age 18 or older. Do not submit a child’s photo through the standard request process without first arranging the request with AWRA and providing appropriate parent or guardian authorization. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can address it.
Our providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ from those where you live.
8. Changes and contact
We post updates here and change the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required, and additional consent will be requested where required by law. Questions: hello@awraphoto.com.
